RealPage is a company whose software is being used by for-profit landlords to drive up rents sky-high. As alleged in multiple lawsuits, corporations use this software to fix rent prices high, acting as a “cartel,” as the lawsuits allege. The largest Seattle property managers and landlords use RealPage’s software: Greystar, Equity Residential, Essex Property Trust, Thrive Communities, Avalon Bay, Avenue5 Residential, Metropolitan Management, FPI Management, Security Properties and more.
